Oakridge Realty Development Corporation is given the 2019 Gawad Linaw Award in a ceremony on January 27, 2020 at the Mandaue City Hall, in recognition for its innovative practices on labor and management relations.
The award was presented by Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes, Vice Mayor Glenn Bercede, the Mandaue City Council, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (MCCI), key officials of the Department of Labor and Employment- 7, and the Tripartite Industrial Peace Council-Mandaue City (TIPC-MC)
In his acceptance speech, Oakridge Realty Development Corp. Chief Executive Edmun H. Liu said the award is a testament to how “a strong, harmonious, dynamic and dedicated employer-employee partnership can bring about great and wonderful progress” not just within the company but in the entire business community of Mandaue City.
The Gawad Linaw Award is a project of the TIPC-MC in partnership with MCCI. It seeks to recognize and acknowledge the efforts of companies and to encourage social partners to continue the drive of enhancing labor and management relations.
